A recent ad for www.amaniraha.com found Brett along with friend Melissa of Weddings Etc as models. There was a little arm twisting to get Brett on the job since he is usually behind the camera but it was fun and look for it in www.bhammag.com

Amelia and Jason are a wonderful couple. I enjoyed my two days with them. They had their rehearsal dinner at http://www.ruckerplace.com/ Rita Jason's mother hosted the party complete with Italian food and even better Italian dessert( I am so glad I was able to photograph it)! The ceremony held on Aug 5th at Covenant Presbyterian Church http://www.covpres.com/ was a very spirit filled occasion. I was impressed with Jason's prayer time with the groomsmen before the formal portraits. It is not often that the boys behave.
Amelia carried a lace and flower adorned bible Jason had given her and I believe it says a lot about their relationship.
Amelia and Jason had their reception at The Mountain Brook Club where everyone enjoyed dancing to the music provided by my favorite Geoff of http://www.jamm.net/

Amelia and Jason's Grand Finale to this event is a honeymoon in Dubrovnik, Croatia ...check out images I found on google of the city. I had the honor of going to to Croatia 2 summers ago with a family from Miami. With the family of five and the nanny we traveled all over Europe for 9 weeks I was the personal photographer and I am sure you can imagine the great photographs taken. During that time Dubrovnik was a highlight because of the beautiful scenery and great shopping. Look for images to follow of the trip Enjoy your trip Amelia & Jason.http://images.google.com/images?q=dubrovnik+croatia&hl=en&lr=&sa=X&oi=images&ct=title
After Adrian and Eric's Wedding in Gulf Shores Brett and I where invited to spend some time with Beth her daughters and their children. We had such a great time on ONO Island. Not only did we get beautiful family portraits on the beach but we went deep sea fishing with the kids and boy did they have fun. Thanks Beth we really felt like part of the family and look forward to spending time with you again.
Nothing like catching your first ghost crab and having the family photographer there to document!Three days with my new adopted family....can't wait to do it again next year!

On July 29th Adrian & Eric said their vows at the The Beach Club in Gulf Shores, AL http://www.beachclubal.com/ I am loving these beach weddings! They are so much fun and laid back.

Don't think I like goat kisses!

I had the chance to go to Thomasville, Ga and photograph http://www.sweetgrassdairy.com/ a great family owned artesian cheese company. You would not think a goat farm could turn you on to the grassier side of the fence but I am spoiled. I must have Gouda! ... with a great wine of course. And Yes that goat is SMILING at you!

Aidan the owner's son is an expert at collecting organic eggs from their farm. He walked me around and showed me how it was done...Aidan was a bit shy with me but man did he run around with those chickens.

The editorial about Sweet Grass Dairy will be in the next issue of http://www.tasteofthesouthmagazine.com/ where I have regular photography appearances.
