Arden and her associates did an excellent job photographing my wedding. I have so many images to choose from and Arden has been a great help. She had an excellent attitude and was a lot of fun as she spent the day w/ me and my bridesmaids. Her partner, Brett, also made the guys feel very comfortable as he photographed them getting ready. I've gotten so many compliments on my pictures. Everything concerning Arden Photography was perfect.

American Idol Taylor Hicks returned home for several appearances in the Birmingham area.

Arden Photography captured images of Taylor Hicks at the Birmingham Museum of Art during their Art on the Rocks Event. Go Taylor !!!

As I am sure many of you know I shoot for the magazine "Cooking with Paula Deen" during the week. This is a topic of much discussion and often times people ask me... Who is she really when the cameras are off and no ones looking. My answer to that is Paula is a great woman and what makes her so likeable is she is real on and off camera. When I went to Paula's house in Savannah to photograph for the magazine she greeted us with a big "Hey Ya'll come on in" and put everyone at ease with warm smile.

Her spirit reaches out and touches everyone's heart and you can't fake that! So for those who have been asking I think this image is what you would really see if you pulled up to Paula house for a visit no matter if you are a friend already or soon to become one over a dish of yummy southern cooking.

We had a great photo shoot at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens complete with champagne and strawberries. What a romantic couple. Thanks Jennifer and Steve I am looking forward to your wedding!

Shannon and Dan's wedding last weekend was so beautiful. They are in Italy for their honeymoon and I am sure that they are having a wonderful time. The images from their wedding will be posted in a week.

Brett and I have been so blessed to have such a great season with so many wonderful brides. We have been working hard on the weekend and our new apprentice Daisy has been a huge help. Daisy took these images of us at our May 6-7 weddings. I want to thank all of our couples this year for making our jobs of photographing your day a reason to be passionate about weddings! It has been a pleasure to get to know each and everyone of you.

Recently Fusion Spa in the new SOHO building in Homewood hired me for their website images. I was so excited to get to know the girls and we had a great day photographing the shop. Melissa modeled for us and wow she looks great. I can't rave enough about how great the massages are at the spa. I hope to become a regular!

It has been really a busy month so far and I haven't been posting as I should. I hope to get back on track soon.
