As many of you know already Arden Photography was selected to be the photographers for NBC 13 Throws a Wedding. It has been very exciting so far and we have photographed all of the behind the scenes images to go in Birmingham Magazine and on the air. Here are a few images from Norton's Florist . Brett and I will be on the air in December for the wedding.

Brett, I wanted to tell you about 2 different conversations I had in the salon last week, Two sisters (my clients) had been in a wedding Arden and you had done in July 2006 brides last name Kettig. When I told them I had used you as the photographer, they went CRAZY! They think you hung the moon and stars! Think you are the hottest thing walking, TEEHEE! Anyway they had the whole salon talking about you, and I wanted to tell you about that thought you might get a good laugh! They were so funny they said they had to get a picture with you, and Anne\'s boyfriend was jealous, How crazy! Thought I would make you and Ardens day. Have a good one!

We spent today with Amy & John who said their vows at the Wynfrey Hotel everything was perfect thanks Debbie(MOM), Jenny, and Amy (for being so much fun!)

Patient Claire... Your images are amazing and have posted today! My favorite part of your ceremony is when ya'll were ready to get to it (the vows) and Father hadn't even finished yet..too cute.

Jamey & Summer married at Mountain View Ballroom and Estates On Oct 6th and they had a beautiful sunset ceremony complete with the release of butterflies. Yes the butterfly on her veil is real! I love the idea of live butterflies released in honor of the ceremony. It was breathtaking!

I was checking out other blogs as I often do on Sunday and came to my photographer friend Kelly McCord's she posted this video and it made me realize how crazy our world is about beauty or what mainstream is considered beautiful. Please view the video. As a photographer I enhance images with photoshop, I remove blemishes and change them to black & white. Photoshop is a tool to be used but not as a way to distort who a person really is. What I love about the people and weddings I have photographed is that the images really portray them as who they are... and I love that.

Anne Garland & Andrew married on September 23, 2006 at the American Village. Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at their wedding. More images to come..... but I couldn't wait until they were all done!
